All bids should be sent to the office of the Superintendent of Schools, 710 Lyon Street, Carthage, Missouri.  The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and no bid under $165,550.00 will be considered.  All bidders are required to enclose a check with their bid for ten percent (10%) of their bid amount.  Unsuccessful bidders’ check will be returned to them.

The house has three bedrooms, 2 3/4 baths, kitchen, utility room, living room, breakfast nook, covered front and back porches, and a two-car garage.

 

Framing:             Supplier for most wood products, windows, and doors was Barton’sof Carthage.  All framing lumber is #1 and #2.

Foundation:        Reinforced poured concrete footing and block foundation walls

Floor joist:           2 ½” x 12” @ 16” O.C. BCI joist with laminated beams

Sub floor:            ¾” tongue and groove Advantec

Underlayment:    ½” concrete board

Walls:                  2” x 4” interior and 2” x 6” exterior @ 16” O.C.

Wall sheathing:   7/16” O.S.B.
