Greetings from Fairview Elementary School!
We are anticipating a productive school year for all Fairview students. Because learning is a cooperative activity, we advocate participation, cooperation, respect, and communication among parents, students, and school staff. We invite you to learn more about us as a school community. Your involvement will promote academic success for our students and establish a firm foundation for our students’ endeavors after high school graduation.
Our professional staff holds high expectations for all students. We assess individual academic needs and use research-based instructional strategies in both English/Language Arts and Mathematics. All students receive tiered interventions designed to remediate and accelerate their learning. Our students also learn about developing good character traits through Character Plus and Peace Builders, which are both research-validated violence prevention programs. These academic and character initiatives support our goal of providing a productive and safe learning environment for students. We want our students to become productive, independent citizens.
As a member of the No Excuses University Network, Fairview actively promotes a comprehensive model of college readiness to all students as soon as they begin kindergarten. We believe that every Fairview student deserves every opportunity to be supported, challenged, and inspired toward graduation…and beyond!
