Carthage Schools:  Inspiring Excellence

Learning is a cooperative activity at Fairview Elementary.  We advocate participation, cooperation, respect, and communication among parents, students, and school staff.  This partnership promotes academic and personal success for our students.

At Fairview we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe, focused environment.  We assess individual academic needs and use research-based instructional strategies in both English/Language Arts and Mathematics.  All students receive tiered interventions designed to remediate and accelerate their learning.   Our students also learn about developing good character traits through Character Plus and Peace Builders, which are both research-validated violence prevention programs.

Fairview is a member of the No Excuses University Network.  We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to be educated in a way that prepares them for college if they so choose to attend. We actively promote college readiness as soon as our students begin kindergarten.  We believe that all Fairview students deserve every opportunity to be supported, challenged, and inspired toward high school graduation…and beyond!

We welcome parent and community participation in all Fairview activities. Visit our events calendar on our website or contact us if you want more information about our school. At Fairview Elementary we are planning for success!
