The Carthage A+ program provides financial incentives for those students who choose to attend a Missouri public community college or technical/vocational school. The incentives are reimbursement for the cost of tuition and fees.

The purpose of the A+ program is to:

• Reduce dropout rate.
• Encourage all students to complete a selection of high school studies that is challenging and has identified learning expectations.
• Provide information on career pathways for all students.

The goal for the A+ schools program is to assure that all students are well-prepared to pursue advanced education or gain high wage employment.
