Have you ever thought about a career in nursing? If so, you may want to consider a career as a practical nurse. Practical nursing is a great first step in a nursing career and provides an excellent academic and clinical foundation in only 10 and a half months.
The job forecast is strong for practical nurses with numerous opportunities for future employment in medical clinics, doctor ' s offices, home health services, nursing care facilities and medical/surgical hospitals. Practical nurses fill a very important role as a member of the healthcare team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Our program will start January of 2010 with applications being accepted starting May 1, 2009. Advanced placement is available for individuals with previous health related certifications and those who have successfully completed college level courses.
