With GED Online, students interact with an instructor and with their peers through the internet, creating a community of learners and advancing their studies—and their futures—without the limitations of time and travel. Becoming a part of an online community of local GED students can increase motivation and make studying more fun. With GED Online, everything students need to help themselves prepare for the GED test is located in the online classroom environment. Students can study the material and communicate with their instructor according to their individual schedules. |

Instructors GED Online Instructors are all certified professional educators. They will provide motivation and assistance in the five subjects you need to pass the GED test. Assessment tests Don’t know what level you’re at or what subjects to start with? The assessment tests given at the local AEL program before you begin to work online will help you and your online instructor create an individual study plan that is right for you. Worksheets and assignments The online curriculum is designed to cover topics you will find on the GED test. Use the worksheets and assignments to help you prepare for the test. Communication tools You can communicate with the instructors and other GED students through email and discussion boards. Web links The virtual classroom links you to educational websites to supplement the GED Online curriculum. |

AEL sites offer varied programs. · Many adults take classes to prepare for the GED (Tests of General Education Development) · You can also enroll to improve or review important basic skills, whether or not you have a high school diploma There are more than 700 class sites located across the state. · Many AEL programs are sponsored by local school districts, colleges or community organizations. · In most areas, classes are available during the day or evening. |
