Fourth Grade Free Enterprise Project

Our class was chosen to help the Carthage High School Future Business Leaders of America complete their Free Enterprise Project, this was also completed as a WebQuest within our classroom. During the project the children worked in small teams to create their own business. The children learned about the need to take out a loan to begin the business, to work together as a team to accomplish their goal of creating their product and a business name, and a variety of economic terms. After creating their products they "sold" them to Mrs. Bien's fourth graders. The team who gained the most profit "won"!!!
